History of Chiles Group
The Chiles Group started in 1979 with a single restaurant, the Sandbar in Anna Maria, FL. Ten years later, The Mar Vista on Longboat Key joined the group. In 1993 we opened The Beach House in Bradenton Beach, FL. Each waterfront location serves fresh Florida seafood and organic and locally sourced vegetables…
In 2013 we opened our own organic farm, Gamble Creek, in Parrish Florida. Seasonally fresh vegetables from the farm are served in all three restaurants. The goal of the partnership between the restaurants and Gamble Creek is to help establish the market as a one-stop shop for a variety of locally sourced and sustainable items.
In 2018, under the guidance of master baker, Ted Louloudes, our bakery was built to serve all three restaurants. Here is where we make our fresh dinner rolls, brioche buns, baguettes, ciabatta, pullman loaves, croissants, flat breads, and desserts including key lime pie, tarts, scones, cheesecakes, and more.
