The Chiles Group is a family of three amazing waterfront restaurants, an organic farm with 26 acres of vegetables, fruits and flowers, and an art studio filled with works of local artists.

Our restaurants pride themselves on serving fresh local seafood, and organic vegetables with a warm, friendly and attentive service staff. Each embodies the feel of unspoiled Florida and serves breathtaking views.  The president, Ed Chiles, became owner of Sandbar in 1979 and that is where his hospitality story began.  There is a very collaborative atmosphere on the island where businesses work together to improve our community as a whole.  He found his niche and is passionate about his beliefs in the environment, our climate and bringing people together.  Ed’s waterfront restaurants and sustainable multi-use developments on Anna Maria Island have helped launch an ever expanding wedding destination industry in this area. He’s also heavily involved in politics and community service; he was recently named Citizen of the Year by Anna Maria’s The Islander newspaper.  We hope you will enjoy one of our restaurants or visit us at the farm or studio in the very near future.
